City Clerk - Municipal Elections

Municipal Elections are held every even calendar year.  The next Municipal Election will be held on November 8, 2022.  

If you would like to run for Council in the November 8th Elections, the period to pull papers is Monday, July 18th to Friday, August 12th.  Please set an appointment with City Clerk Nicole Moe at nmoe@marysville.ca.us to discuss the process.  

November 8, 2022 Candidates List will be provided after the window of submitting papers closes.

Fair Political Practices Commission

When voters passed the Political Reform Act they simultaneously created the FPPC to administer and enforce the landmark ethics law, as well as inform and assist public officials, employees and candidates to comply with its provisions. Specifically, the Act gives the FPPC authority to adopt, amend and rescind rules and regulations to carry out the purposes of the Act. In addition to interpreting and enforcing the Act, the FPPC focuses on providing current information and useful assistance to encourage compliance.  For more information and resources please visit https://www.fppc.ca.gov/
